The exhibition “Ukraine for the World: Ukraine’s treasures from the Platar collection” has opened at the National Museum in Warsaw. It will last until June 29. The exhibition is organized under the honorary patronage of Polish President Lech Kaczyński and Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko.

It is the first presentation outside of Ukrainian borders of a collection of two entrepreneurs and art patrons: Sergey Platonov and Sergey Taruta. It contains almost 500 works dating back to between 6000 B.C. and the 12th century A.D. The exhibition is sponsored by the Polish branch of Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD).
