“Warsaw Chic”

The exhibition “Warsaw Chic” can be visited since April 19 till June 1 at the Orangery of the Wilanów Palace Museum in Warsaw, Wirtualna Polska reports. The show illustrates cultural and civilization transformations as well as changing customs which took place in the first half of the 20th century.

The displayed showpieces – garments representing different fashion trends – come from the collection of the Warsaw Historical Museum.
Paweł Jaskanis, the director of the Wilanów Palace Museum points out that the historical touch of the exhibition stirs imagination proving that objects thought to have no meaning will in future become valuable items describing life in our times.
