“Wrong regulations, which we are currently modifying and the management system full of red tape (…)have been the main obstacles (in constructing motorways). Therefore we are banking on young, ambitious, well-educated, experienced people who will cut the bad habits” – the Prime Minister told a news conference.
Tusk said that the main problem facing the present government and its predecessors is the “modification of licensing regulations which prevent fair road construction”. “If it is necessary for the State to stand in for the licensee on certain sections of planed motorways” he said.
