For over four decades every other year in June Warsaw has been the meeting point of poster artists from different regions of the world representing different generations. The International Poster Biennale is the first, most prestigious and best known event devoted to poster art.
REKLAMA

The world’s first museum collecting posters – the Warsaw Poster Museum – is inseparably connected with this event. This year 3068 posters from 58 countries have been sent in for the competition. Only a fourth of them can be seen on show at the Poster Museum in Wilanów, a district in Warsaw. The 510 works are displayed in three categories: ideological, cultural and advertising posters. 150 posters in the Henryk Tomaszewski Golden Debut category can also be seen. The jury of the 21st International Poster Biennale announced their verdict on June 7. The exhibition is open until September 7.
