Danish company invests in Poland

Danfoss, the Danish manufacturer of controls and meters, has launched the construction of another facility in Grodzisk Mazowiecki near Warsaw. The new plant will produce heating pumps, electric cables and heating mats.

Danfoss has been present in Poland for several years now. Its plants are operating already in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Wroclaw and Chwaszczyn. The new investment in Grodzisk Mazowiecki will be built at a cost of 10 million EUR and employ 150 people. Danfoss plans to spend another 51 million EUR on more investments in Poland. It has invested altogether 300 million EUR in Poland so far. "Poland is a good place to expand to European markets", said Niell Hansen, president of Danfoss Polska. "We expect the new investment will increase our sales by 15% this year", Adam Jedrzejczak, Danfoss financial director added.
