Ryanair cuts back on Polish flights

2008-11-04
Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair has suspended flights from the UK and Ireland to the south-eastern Polish city of Rzeszów for the winter. From November 4 to December 19 the no-frill airlines will service only selected flights from Kraków to Dublin and Shannon.

‘Flights to Rzeszów are the less popular during winter and they bring losses for the company’ Juliusz Komorek of Ryanair told TVN24. He added that Polish airport fees are one of the main concerns of Ryanair. The move is part of a pan-European series of cutbacks introduced by the company.
