Country Brand Index: Poland is good value
Poland moved up the list in this year’s edition of the Country Brand Index (CBI) covering best value tourist destinations ‘Puls Biznesu’ writes. It ranks fifth in the world in the Best Country Brand for Value for Money Category.
It made its debut as a Rising Star last year. Currently Poland is ahead of the United States, Malaysia, Turkey, South Africa and Hungary. Thailand ranked first. The Best Country Brand for Value for Money Category includes countries whose tourism offer is best as compared with the costs.
CBI encompasses rankings and trends, as well as country brand analysis, travel motivations and insights into the challenges and opportunities within the world of travel, tourism and country branding.
The CBI 2008 research was conducted by FutureBrand, a leading global brand consultancy, in conjunction with public relations firm Weber Shandwick’s Global Travel & Lifestyle Practice.
