New contractor takes over Warsaw Euro 2012 stadium construction
The Wroclaw 2012 company in south-western Poland has initiated the procedure of handing over the construction site of a stadium developed for the European Football Championship EURO 2012 to a new contractor - German firm Max Boegl.
A spokesperson for Wroclaw 2012 told the Polish News Agency that the company has formally taken over the site from the consortium headed by Mostostal Warszawa SA which lost the contract because of what city authorities described as unacceptable delays.
